Hero teachers identified in Southport stabbings as they battle for their lives after rescuing up to 16 youngsters

 

“The town is in mourning, the town is in shock this morning,” Southport MP Patrick Hurley said, expressing the community’s astonishment and sadness. The event of yesterday was very horrifying.”

Just before the program was scheduled to conclude, the assailant entered the community center, arrived in a cab, and left without paying, according to Chief Constable Serena Kennedy of Merseyside Police.

The attacker, a 17-year-old Banks resident, is still being held on suspicion of both attempted and actual murder.

The incident has left the community in shock, with Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer calling it “horrendous and deeply shocking” and King Charles calling it “utterly horrific”.
