Iconic “apparently kid” remakes hit video—and it’s just as entertaining—after a decade

The supposedly youngster, whose real name is Noah Ritter, has now redone his now-famous interview after a decade had passed.

The local news station contacted Ritter, who was five years old at the time, when he and his grandfather Jack were attending the Wayne County Fair in Pennsylvania in 2014.

The reporters were interested in Ritter’s thoughts on the news. But Ritter got his ‘never, ever been on live television’ diatribe in before the opportunity passed.

His explanation was that he is “just a kid,” and he has never been on live television before. “Grandpa gives me the remote every time we watch the Powerball,” said the man.

Ritter gained the endearing nickname “the apparently kid” when the interview went viral online and won the hearts of Americans everywhere.

On August 4, precisely ten years after the interview, a wiser and more experienced Noah went back to his broadcasting origins and replicated the event with WNEP in the same position at the fair.

The revelation that Kevin Bacon’s wife is really his cousin left him bewildered.
