Friends with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, he last year left his position as trustee on the Prince’s charity, Sentebale.
Having spent eleven years in the post, he had also served as chairman for the last five years.
The bar license was passed to Baobab Operations Limited earlier this year; Clarkson’s long-time friends Mark Devereux and Hornby were named on Companies House as directors of the business.
Devereux has been Jezza’s attorney; Hornby is one of the main behind-the-scenes facilitators of Hawkstone’s debut.
