Jordan Chiles, a gymnast from the United States, has been officially deprived of her bronze medal following a contentious decision.

She shared a series of wounded heart emoticons and then added, “I am taking this time and removing myself from social media for my mental health, thank you.”

In response to the contentious ruling, USA Gymnastics issued a statement to the publication, stating, “We are appalled by the Court of Arbitration for Sport’s decision concerning the women’s floor exercise.”

“The inquiry into the Difficulty Value of Jordan Chiles’ floor exercise routine was filed in good faith and, we believed, in accordance with FIG rules to ensure accurate scoring.”

After only one week, an Olympian has stunned admirers by disclosing the condition of his medal: “The quality is not as high as one would expect.”

The Air Force veteran, 90, who was observed pawning jewelry to provide care for his wife with dementia, has raised more than $340,000.
