Symptoms include redness, itching, tingling around the lips, and gastrointestinal issues. Anaphylaxis may occur from a severe milk allergy.

Through testing, an allergist may identify a milk allergy. Medication and avoiding milk-containing goods are part of the treatment.

Last month, the chip manufacturer, Frito-Lay, released the following statement: “December 16, 2024 — Following a consumer warning,

Frito-Lay recalled a small quantity of 13-ounce packages of Lay’s Classic Potato Chips that may contain unreported milk.

“Those who ingest the recalled product might have a severe or fatal allergic response if they have a milk allergy or extreme sensitivity. The recalled product was supplied.
