Report: “Smallville” Star Tom Welling Arrested for DUI

According to an arrest and booking record acquired by USA Today, the 47-year-old Smallville actor was detained for driving under the influence in Yreka, California, just after midnight on Sunday, January 26.

According to the police report, the actor’s blood alcohol content was 0.08 percent, which is at or over the legal limit. According to the complaint, at about two in the morning local time,

A Yreka police officer took him into custody and booked him into the custody of the Siskiyou Country Sheriff’s Office. He was freed a few hours later, at approximately 7 a.m.

USA Today reports that an arraignment date has been set on March 11. Welling’s representatives and the Yreka Police Department have been contacted by PEOPLE for comment.
