Los Angeles was set on fire by an alleged arsonist who was arrested for “purposefully starting the Kenneth fire.”

The apprehended suspect is a homeless guy in his 30s, according to LAPD sources. The cause of the fire is still unknown, even though it is “being investigated as a crime.”

On Thursday, January 9, locals are said to have contacted 911 to report a man trying to ignite a fire. The guy was restrained by locals until responding police officers showed up and arrested him.

“At 1,000 acres, the #KennethFire is already 35% controlled. Early on Friday morning, California Governor Gavin Newsom said, “The forward rate of spread has been stopped.”

At least 20 persons were detained by the LAPD on Wednesday and Thursday for stealing from houses damaged or destroyed by the devastating wildfires that are wreaking havoc in Los Angeles.
