Man Utd icon Denis Law passed away at the age of 84 after a battle with dementia.

 

“We want to express our gratitude to everyone who has helped with his care and well-being, both lately and in the past.

We are aware of how much love and support he received from others, and that love always made a difference. Thank you.

Law was a member of United from 1962 until 1973. “Deeply saddened” to announce the news of Law’s demise, the club said.

“Everyone at Manchester United is grieving the loss of Denis Law, the King of the Stretford End, who passed away at the age of 84,”

The team announced in a statement. We send our sincerest sympathies to Denis’s family and many friends. His legacy will endure forever.
