The Walmart shop is still shuttered while the inquiry is ongoing. Walmart will remain closed till further notice, a Walmart representative stated.
In a statement obtained by CBC News, Walmart spokesman Amanda Moss stated, “We are deeply saddened and our thoughts are with our associate and their family.”
“Taking care of our colleagues and ensuring they have the assistance they require continues to be our top priority.”
