The former Ivy League student was chained and sat in a Manhattan court on December 23 after entering a not guilty plea to the state murder and terror charges.
He was extradited from Pennsylvania and is now being imprisoned at the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center, a federal jail. There were earlier rumors that he will be sent to Rikers Island prison.
