People should be ready for aftershocks in the days and weeks ahead, according to USGS authorities.

According to a White House official, President Joe Biden has been informed about the earthquake. The spokesman, Jeremy Edwards, issued a statement saying.

“At his direction, Senior Administration and FEMA Regional officials are in touch with their state and local counterparts in California and Oregon.”
