Ohio is missing. A mother was discovered dead in a hammock in the Alabama woods after going camping alone.

Authorities say a hunter has discovered the remains of an Ohio mother who vanished while hiking in the Alabama woods more than two months ago.

On September 20, 2024, Vendula Wendy Rose, 41, went camping alone in Talladega National Forest.

When she failed to return on October 2 as expected, her family started to worry. Over the following two months.

A massive search was conducted in an attempt to find Rose. Unfortunately, on November 30, a hunter discovered human remains in the forest.

The Cleburne County Sheriff’s Department speculates that Rose could have been experiencing a mental health crisis when she passed away.

Foul play is not anticipated by investigators. Rose’s optimistic family was heartbroken by the revelation.
