Performer “Blue Scrotum” comes out in response to criticism from Olympic watchers after their “offensive” set

C Spire, a Mississippi-based tech business, decided to withdraw all of its Olympic advertising in response to the farce.

On X, they wrote: “We were horrified to see the Last Supper mocked at the Paris Olympic opening festivities. We at C Spire will no longer be running Olympic advertisements.”

The performance’s Dionysus, actor Philippe Katerine, has now spoken out. Furthermore, the actor seems to have welcomed the criticism around the performance.

The French station BFM TV quoted Katerine as saying: “It wouldn’t be enjoyable if there wasn’t any controversy. If everyone on this globe agreed, wouldn’t that be boring?

Since then, the event’s organizers have made it clear that the performance had nothing to do with Christianity and was instead a tribute to Greek mythology and the Olympic Games’ ancient roots.

Perceptive spectators could have also noticed that, excluding Dionysus, there were actually 17 people present behind the table during this occasion.
