Police in Las Vegas are searching for connections between the New Orleans assault and the cybertruck explosion.

Turo is the same service that was used to hire the pickup truck used in the tragic assault in New Orleans, according to several law enforcement officials who spoke to ABC News about the Cybertruck that detonated in Las Vegas.

In response to an ABC News request for comment, a Turo representative issued a statement saying, “We are heartbroken by the violence perpetrated in New Orleans and Las Vegas,

And our prayers are with the victims and families.” “We are actively partnering with law enforcement authorities as they investigate both incidents.”

“We do not believe that either renter involved in the Las Vegas and New Orleans attacks had a criminal background.

That would have identified them as a security threat,” said the statement. “We remain committed to maintaining the highest standards in risk management,

Thanks to our world-class trust and safety technologies and teams that include experienced former law enforcement professionals.” McMahill said that the explosion was a “isolated incident”

Ten people were wounded in a shooting outside a Queens music venue, and the NYPD says there are still any suspects.
