Fritz and Wolfe, who transformed someone else’s garbage into treasure on American Pickers, were well-known as the endearing Midwesterner pickers who were often seen looking for unique antiques.
He made appearances in almost 300 episodes of the program, which has 25 seasons at the moment. After a grueling back surgery in March 2020 that left
Him with two rods in his spine and 185 stitches, he quit the show. Thankfully, he lost 65 pounds following the procedure, and his health momentarily improved.
The play had enormous popularity among its audience, and many of them paid their respects to Fritz on social media.
“Frank was the main reason I watched that program. I didn’t actually watch it all that much after he departed. Frank, there was something lacking. Frank, RIP,” a fan commented. “You were what I call, Good People.”
