Sadly, Disney influencer Dominique Brown passed away at the age of 34 after passing out during a holiday meal event.

Together with fellow fan Mia Von, she co-founded BlackGirlDisney, a platform for connecting women of color who share a passion for Disney films and theme parks.

She gained millions of social media followers thanks to her lively attitude and contagious passion for the company, which made a lasting impression on the online Disney community.

We appreciate Dominique’s efforts to unite the Black Girl Disney community. On her last Instagram post, a follower said, “You are such a light, that anyone can feel through the screen or in person.”

“Thank you for creating and holding space for all Black Disney girls,” another person said. I want you to know how much we adore you and how much we will miss you.

In a heartfelt Instagram post, Dominique’s brother Patrick Ramos thanked her followers for their support throughout this terrible period.

Although she enjoyed Disney, Ramos said, “it was unmatched that she found a community that loved her and Disney as much as she did.”
