But Patti did sing “Don’t Cry For Me, Argentina” at the Grammys in 2018 as an homage to Andrew. “This is détente, ladies and gentlemen” she allegedly exclaimed during rehearsals before giving him a hug.
In 2019, however, Patti was informed by the New York Times that Andrew had made reference to her in his book.
“He’s a jerk,” she remarked, confirming that she hadn’t read it. He’s a depressed jerk. He embodies what it is to be a sad bag.
