Connolly had said that before his death, he and Williams had connected over their same medical problems.
Back in 2013 Connolly had been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. Although Williams had also thought he was in
the early phases of the illness at the time, an autopsy would subsequently show the actor had really been suffering from Lewy body dementia.
“We used to discuss Parkinson’s quite a bit. He would phone me and we would note things. His started early, just as mine did, Connolly told The Telegraph back in 2014.
