Starliner manufactured by Boeing Up to 2025, Astronauts Will Be Trapped in Space, But SpaceX Will Return Them

The astronauts from the Boeing Starliner who were left stranded in orbit for over three months will need to stay there for a little while longer since they won’t be returning to Earth until next year.

NASA administrator Bill Nelson said at a press conference on Saturday that while Butch Willmore and Suni

Williams are anticipated to return in February 2025, the Boeing Starliner would be returning unmanned due to concerns for their safety.

The two will be in space for an additional six months, which is a far way from the nine days that their mission was initially supposed to last.
