Stephen Hawking’s prophecy of the end of the world is more imminent than we realize.

At the Tencent WE Summit in November 2017, the former mathematician from the University of Cambridge stated his prognosis of our imminent demise,

Stating that the world’s population was doubling every 40 years up to that time. “This exponential growth cannot continue into the next millennium,” he said.

The world’s population would be standing shoulder to shoulder by 2600, and the amount of power used would cause the planet to blaze red hot. In his computer-generated voice, Hawking said, “This is unacceptable.”

There have been recent reports that NASA has supported Hawking’s scary statements, but the agency has rejected this, as a spokeswoman told Newsweek: “NASA has not made this claim.”

“NASA has studied our home planet for more than 50 years, providing information to directly benefit humanity and producing observations.

That can only be gathered in space that address some of the areas that Hawking mentioned,” the agency added, expressing concern about global threats to humanity.
