Nine individuals have received the highest honour in rugby union, including Sir Ian McGeechan, the head of the British Lions, and Sir Clive Woodward,
The manager of England that won the World Cup in 2003. Gerald Davies, 79, a former winger for the Lions and Wales, was also included in yesterday’s King’s most recent New Year’s Honours list.
Robinson, who won several titles with Wigan before playing for Woodward’s world winners after a cross-code transfer, stated:
“There is no denying that Kevin has done incredible work over the years.” Furthermore, it has expanded well beyond rugby.
He was without a doubt one of the greatest players. That bond with Rob, however, and the work he has done for the MND community—raising funds and supporting.
Others who lack a voice—is just incredible. He has left such a legacy and is an amazing human being. However, contrary to rugby union, you don’t get the same recognition.
