According to the site, the new plot would “focus on a new crew of inmates but exist in the same universe as the original Prison Break.”
Along with producers Dawn Olmstead, original creator Scheuring, Marty Adelstein, and Neal Moritz, they also mention that Elgin James will be directing the new prison series.
However, fans’ reactions to the announcement of a revival have been varied on the internet. “Whyyyy do we need to reboot everything?”
