The implications of Taylor Swift endorsing Kamala Harris for the November election

“This isn’t the 2018 Taylor Swift debating whether to enter the political sphere. Taylor Swift in 2024 is a woman who is confident in her identity and doesn’t fear criticism for speaking her mind.”

Approximately 83% of participants in a Suffolk University/USA Today survey conducted in May said that a Swift endorsement would “not at all” affect their choice of candidate for November’s election.

Recent surveys indicate that among young voters—traditionally Swift’s primary source of support—Harris leads Trump.

A new New York Times/Siena study indicates that among voters between the ages of 18 and 29, Harris leads Trump by ten percentage points.

Brilyn Hollyhand, Chairman of the RNC Youth Advisory Council and a voter from Generation Z, told Fox about the endorsement.

“As a first-time voter this November, my peers and I will not be voting for Kamala Harris because Taylor Swift and her cats told us to do so,” Hollyhand said.
