Both 2018 and 2022 saw the 60-year-old secure a second term as governor of Minnesota. Walz safeguarded the right
to gender-affirming healthcare for inhabitants in 2023 by an executive decree. His subsequent signature on the
“Trans Refuge” measure made it illegal to pursue arrest warrants against anybody seeking medical treatment in Minnesota.
