This month, a unique cosmic occurrence will allow millions of people to see the alignment of four planets in the sky.

The planets are simple to identify as well; of course, less light pollution makes it easier, but they are located in our sky along the same ecliptic line as the Sun and Moon.

Planets don’t sparkle as stars do. They resemble tiny discs, and unlike many stars, the light they produce is not distorted by the atmosphere.

You may also see our icy planets in Uranus and Neptune, which are located in the sky between Saturn and Jupiter, if you have a telescope.
