According to reports, a 19-year-old Iranian lady has had 50 face reconstruction procedures done to mimic Angelina Jolie’s appearance. Along with the procedures, she reportedly shed more than 80 pounds.
Her name is Sabar Tahar, and her motivation for doing this is yet unknown. According to some accounts, she is 22 years old, but other stories state that she is 29.
The lady was subsequently imprisoned for ten years when it was alleged that she had altered the pictures to attract attention on social media. Please have a peek at the transformation photos below if you’re interested in seeing them.
Tabar was first charged with blasphemy, inciting violence, earning money via improper ways, and inspiring young people to engage in corruption.
She said that two of the four counts against her had been dropped, but she wished to remain silent in the hopes of receiving a pardon.
Her confession was aired by Iranian official television in late October of last year. There was a lot of compassion for her when she expressed regret.
