When browsing the internet, particularly on social media, it is not unusual to find highly specific tales that have been shared for a long time despite not being new.
One of my Facebook acquaintances just posted the tale of tiny Mya Wh!ttington yesterday. It’s a really odd narrative that would first make the hoax scre*m, but it ended up being accurate enough to get media attention.
A FEATHER EXTRACTED FROM MYA WH!TTINGTON’S NECK. The incident happened in December 2012 in Hutchinson, Kansas, which is the seat of Reno County and a US city.
Mya Wh!ttington, a little child who had not yet turned seven months old at the time of the events, is the main character.
Mya Whittington’s parents discovered an unusual bulge on the tiny girl’s neck, right below the jaw, on December 8, 2012.
