The untimely demise of the Brazilian singer has drawn comparisons to a scene from Final Destination.
Unfortunately, tragedy happened on July 13 when Ayres Sasaki was playing in Salinopolis, Brazil. Supposedly, a fan in a damp t-shirt approached Sasaki on stage and embraced him, but the embrace turned deadly.
Sasaki allegedly died quickly after being electrified due to their moist clothes. Whether or whether the fan survived the event is still a mystery.
The Sun US states that authorities have begun investigating the 35-year-old’s tragic death, although it is unclear how or why the fan became wet.
After Saturday’s tragic events, the venue, The Solar Hotel, released a statement acknowledging the loss of life during the concert.
