Tragically, Brazilian Influencers Perish After “Refusing Life Jackets” to Prevent “Ruining Their Selfies”

Tragically, a yacht party boat sank, killing 27-year-old Beatriz Tavares da Silva Faria and 37-year-old Aline Tamara Moreira de Amorim.

In a tragic event, two well-known influencers perished after their packed boat capsized and they allegedly refused to use life jackets.

Aline Tamara Moreira de Amorim, 37, and Beatriz Tavares da Silva Faria, 27, were declared dead by authorities last month after their boat overturned close to Devil’s Throat, a rocky, picturesque coastal location.

In Brazil, the two ladies were part of a bigger group spending a day at sea, enjoying the scenery and shooting selfies.

The boat may have been overcrowded on the way back from the party, according to the inquiry. According to Sao Vincente police commissioner Marcos Alexandre Alfino, several passengers chose not to wear life jackets because they believed the jackets would obstruct their pictures.
