In the 2024 election, President-elect Donald Trump ran a campaign that focused heavily on food prices, promising to swiftly lower expenses for American households if he were granted another four years in office.
However, in an interview with Time, when he was awarded the magazine’s “Person of the Year,” Trump now claims that doing it would be a “very hard” assignment.
If Trump didn’t fulfill his pledge to lower the cost of food for Americans, would his administration be seen as a “failure”?

The president-elect went on to say that he thought increasing energy output and resolving supply chain problems will lead to reduced pricing. However, I believe they will.
