UnitedHealth’s worth drops $63,000,000,000 after the tragic murder of its former CEO.

The assassination of UnitedHealth’s CEO last month caused the company’s worth to plummet by an astounding $63 billion.

In what is said to have been a targeted assault, Luigi Mangione shot and murdered Brian Thompson.

Last month, Thompson was shot once in the leg and again in the back when he was leaving a Hilton hotel in Midtown Manhattan.

After receiving a tip from a McDonald’s employee in Altoona, Pennsylvania, authorities subsequently said that a person of interest had been taken into custody.

The Manhattan District Attorney’s Office has filed many accusations against Mangione, including illegal possession of a firearm, first and second degree murder, and possession of a counterfeit driver’s license.
