The police for reckless endangerment and contributing to a minor’s delinquency. Update: Brian Hoss, the couple’s lawyer, issued the following statement on the Haistens’ behalf:
“After a school dance this past Saturday, Will and Marcie Haisten gave their son permission to invite a certain group of kids to their home on Lookout Mountain.
They had their son contact each invited visitor, expressly instructing them not to bring alcohol, as any parent would do.
Around 10:20 p.m., the students began to arrive at the Haisten home after the dance. In order to ensure that none of the students brought alcohol into their homes,
Will and Marcie welcomed the majority of the kids. Regretfully, additional pupils visited their home without permission after seeing the group’s Instagram location.
They sent a number of them home. We now know that three (3) of those kids drank alcohol long before they even set foot in the Haisten home.
