It is discouraging that Tim Walz left his fellow troops when they needed seasoned guidance the most. To put it simply, the conclusion to all of this is tragic and terrible.
He stepped down when the moment was right. As a Sergeants Major in the United States Army, he was unable to graduate.
He withdrew out of the military two years after graduating from the academy, therefore he was never able to serve.
He was promoted to Command Sergeant Major on condition, although he did not serve for two years.
The enlistment he signed on September 18, 2001, was for six years, however he did not serve all of that time.
He let his nation down. He deserted his home state. He let down his fellow soldiers, the 1-125th Field Artillery Battalion, and the Minnesota Army National Guard. He also did not set a good example. A disgrace.
