Ms. Muthart claims that when she was 19, a buddy offered her a meth-laced joint, which set off her downward spiral. She felt as if she was becoming closer to God as a result of the transcendent high it gave her.
For years, she kept after that high. After developing an addiction to meth, the teenager started injecting it instead of smoking it.
She is sharing her experience to serve as a warning to young individuals who may be considering drug use.
