Essex Police requested for witnesses to assist with their inquiry and announced they were opening an investigation into the incident that happened on Coppice Row in Epping just before 1pm.
According to a spokeswoman, “We were called to Coppice Row, Epping, just after 12.50pm on Saturday, December 7, following reports of what is believed to be a single vehicle collision involving a Ferrari.”
The motorist was transported to the hospital once emergency services arrived. We are no longer on the site; the car has been retrieved.

The Essex Fire Service also reported that a guy who was stuck in his car had been freed by firemen.
