A 6-year-old girl’s passport was denied because her name was based on a character from “Game of Thrones.”

“I was irritated because I didn’t understand. Would anything not have been noticed at that time if she had been able to get a birth certificate?

It never occurred to me that you could trademark a name. The mother was subsequently contacted by the passport authorities to express regret for their mistake.

The name? Khaleesi, naturally. I wouldn’t have taken any action if I hadn’t shared this on social media.

She said that other people had contacted her and acknowledged that they had gone through a similar situation.

“I would have been stuck, not knowing what to do,” she said. She told the publication, “I was promised.

That they would call back in a few days to see if it had progressed, and I am hoping the passport will be issued soon.”

“I believe that there may be additional individuals in this circumstance whose passports may have lately been denied due to anything similar. Now that people know it can be fixed, hopefully,” she added.
