“At Cracker Barrel, we strive to create a welcoming environment for all our guests, and we understand that a recent visit by this group to our Waldorf location fell short of those expectations,” the statement continues.
“Due to a staffing issue that day, a portion of our second dining room had to close, which caused confusion and affected the group’s experience.
We are working closely with the group’s leadership to better understand what went wrong, offer our apologies, and put things right since we take this seriously.”

Has planned a protest for Sunday afternoon at the Waldorf Cracker Barrel in reaction to this week’s events. Madelynn participates in the SOAR program run by the districts.
Reed told USA TODAY, “I can’t put into words how I felt − anger, sadness, and worry,” after hearing about what had transpired inside the restaurant.
