False claims that former president Donald Trump lunged for the wheel of his Secret Service vehicle during the rioting at the Capitol building on January 6, 2021, were sent to a select congressional committee that was investigating the incident.
That is one of the findings that the long-awaited report on the Secret Service’s response to the J6 protesters who broke into the Capitol building while
lawmakers were there and getting ready to certify the 2020 election results was released last week by the U.S. Office of the Inspector General.
Cassidy Hutchinson was a star witness for the J6 committee, however other witnesses who met with the OIG denied her claim. President Trump allegedly reached for the wheel of “the Beast,
