After learning that a single employee could have neglected to fasten seatbelts, Kia recalls around 23,000 vehicles.

After what might be considered one heck of a mistake, Kia was forced to recall more than 22,000 of their cars.

The EV9 vehicles from the automaker will be available in the UK this month after being introduced in the US in October 2023.

Car recalls are becoming commonplace; Tesla, for instance, is well aware of this, having had seven recalls for its notorious Cybertruck.

Kia has now done the same. Due to safety concerns, the South Korean automaker was compelled to recall its EV9s, Kia’s first three-row electric SUV.

22,883 vehicles manufactured at Kia’s Gwangmyeong, South Korea, factory between September 25, 2023, and October 15, 2024, are subject to the recall.
