At 89 years old, Maggie Smith passed away. ‘Downton Abbey,’ McGonagall from ‘Potter’

Three SAG Awards, and three Primetime Emmys for it. Smith overcame her own health problems, disclosing that she had cancer as early as 2007.

But by 2009, she had fully recovered and had no longer been affected by cancer. Maggie is survived by five grandkids and her two sons.
