At the age of 70, Jill Jacobson passed away.

 

With performances in Days of Our Lives, Quantum Leap, and Newhart, as well as a recurrent role as Erin Jones on Falcon Crest, Jacobson’s television career took off in the 1980s and 1990s.

By playing two distinct guest parts in Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, she made a lasting impression on the Star Trek world.

Etheria, a 2020 horror anthology series, was her most recent on-screen appearance. Outside of acting, Jacobson was well-known.

For her theatrical work and did stand-up comedy at renowned Los Angeles venues including The Comedy Store and Improv.

Reminiscent of Family and Friends Jacobson’s co-star on The New Gidget, Caryn Richman, remembered her as a beloved friend and a talented comic.
