British Gas warns there is only a week of supply left

With frigid temperatures and low winds gripping the nation this weekend, Britain’s gas supplies have dropped to a “concerning” level with just a week’s supply remaining.

Centrica, the owner of British Gas, said that the UK’s storage facilities are around half filled, which is 26% less than it was at this time last year.
