California fires updates: Death toll in Los Angeles fires rises to 24

 

The medical examiner reports that eight people have died as a result of the Palisades Fire and 16 deaths have been verified to be related to the Eaton Fire. Some schools in the Los Angeles Unified.

School District will resume on Monday. Depending on the institution’s location and the weather, the Los Angeles Unified School District said that some of its schools would reopen on Monday.

School administrators will have direct touch with communities, according to LAUSD. According to ABC News, several locals were contacted on Sunday about the reopening of schools.

In grades K–12, the district’s more than 1,500 schools serve almost 600,000 students. Since Thursday, flames have forced the district’s schools to shut.

The red flag warning will remain in force until Wednesday. Another red flag warning for fire risk in Southern California was issued by the National Weather Service on Sunday.
