Doctors warn that common frying oil may be contributing to the rise of colon cancer among young people.

According to a recent US government-led research, popular cooking oils used in highly processed Western diets may be contributing to an increase in colon cancer diagnoses.

The ground-breaking study discovered that unhealthy seed oils, such as those from sunflower, grapeseed, canola, and maize, may cause the body to experience chronic inflammation.

There hasn’t been any solid proof yet that cooking oil causes colon cancer. However, a recent American research that looked.

At the tumors of over 80 individuals with colon cancer, ages 30 to 85, found that seed oils could be a significant component.

According to the research published in the Gut journal, the tumors had higher quantities of bioactive lipids—small, oily molecules formed when the body metabolizes seed oils—than healthy fats.

Bioactive lipids promote the formation of tumors and impede the body’s normal healing process in addition to raising inflammation.
