Jeff and Gleason-Mitchell reunited in May 2023 after a short relationship in 2019, according to the Suffolk Constabulary announcement.
Isabella accompanied the two of them when they left Bedfordshire for Great Yarmouth at the start of June. For the following eleven days, the two of them visited various places in the region.
They allegedly ran out of money for lodging by June 12 and decided to purchase a tent before starting to visit the beach.
On June 16, police saw Jeff and Gleason-Mitchell and performed a welfare check. They advised the couple to look for better accommodations. On June 19, the couple found temporary housing in Ipswich.
According to a Suffolk Constabulary announcement, Isabella was often seen wearing a winter coat (during an extremely hot June) and big sunglasses to conceal her wounds, which are said to have included broken wrists and some bruises before they arrived in Ipswich.
The pair said they tried CPR but were unable to save Isabella after Jeff allegedly attacked her on June 26. At 11:37 p.m.
