Update on Geno Smith’s injuries Following the game, Seattle head coach Mike Macdonald informed media that Smith’s knee will be tested by the club on Monday.
“Structurally, it looks like it’s OK,” Macdonald said, “but we gotta get it imaged.” Additionally, Macdonald said that as of Sunday.
It was unknown how long Smith would be out due to his injuries. With the imaging they want to do on Monday, he and the team expect to provide answers to those issues.
In the end, Smith didn’t come back to the game on Sunday. Due to a knee ailment, the Seahawks had deemed Smith unlikely to play in their “Sunday Night Football” matchup with the Packers.
A pair of Green Bay defenders struck the 34-year-old in the legs, causing the injuries. The Packers’ pass-rush came home after Smith had just thrown away a ball while under pressure.
