In the motion filed on August 6, Hunsucker is accused of numerous things, including sending packages to the Robinsons requesting that the case be dismissed,
making derogatory gestures towards them in public, recording and photographing them, and more. Hunsucker was previously booked into Gaston County jail on a first-degree murder charge.
He has been free after his bail was released on December 24, 2019. A bond of $1.5 million had been posted for him.
“The state believes that the defendant’s dangerous actions will continue to escalate,” states the petition filed on August 6. “The state has great concern for the safety of [Hunsucker’s children] and Mr. and Mrs. Robinson.”
