Man Utd icon Denis Law passed away at the age of 84 after a battle with dementia.

Brian Kidd, Law’s former teammate, said Andy Mitten, publisher of the United We Stand fanzine. He scored every kind of goal and was an incredible finisher.

“He was slight, with the heart of a lion,” Brian Kidd, Law’s former teammate, said Andy Mitten, publisher of the United We Stand fanzine.

He scored every kind of goal and was an incredible finisher. “If you’re ever wide, don’t look up and put the cross in early,”

He told me. It’s my responsibility if I’m not present. He was there most of the time. He was adored by Sir Matt [Busby]. All of us did. The Stretford End was ruled by him.

“This will not be an easy journey especially for the people who love you the most,” Law, who may have scored the most famous goal in Manchester derby history (although for City),
