When the cops got there at around 11 o’clock in the evening, they discovered the guys’ vehicle but couldn’t find them anywhere else.
The police requested assistance from the fire department in their search due to the darkness. The boys’ remains were discovered around fifteen minutes thereafter.
Sanford Police Department Maj. Matthew Gagne informed local news site WMTW that the suspects were found underneath the water using torches and high intensity lights.
