According to a statement from the Pentagon, the package includes drones, ammo for precise HIMARS rocket launchers, and equipment and replacement parts for tanks, armored vehicles, and artillery systems.
The most recent help will be provided via the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative, which does not instantly put military hardware on the battlefield since it purchases it from allies or the defense sector rather than from American supplies.
It comes after a $725 million package that was unveiled on Monday and included anti-air and anti-armour weaponry along with a second batch of landmines.
